Each of these Images can be experienced alone and in the same time stands as an example for different streams of my artistic and philosophical research and interests. The folio Images are connected by a contemporary mind, journeying through this world in search for essence and meaning. I am exploring the visible surface and the unknown interior of the reality around me with the intention to release pearls or to raise questions. My interest is to challenge and/or please sensory perceptions, communicate with and through the unknown .... I worked for many years as a self-taught Studio Artist and created work in many dimensions and media. Inspired by artist Len lye "I create work in 2D, two and a half D, 3D and three and a half D". I used technology, a wide variety of methods or just single concepts to express Ideas and feelings In 2008 I decided to test and challenge and expand my foundation with a 'tertiary university art education', which I successfully completed with a Master Degree in Fine Arts from Massey University in 2014. One highlight was the winning the prestigious National Sculpture Award 2009 in Jade and Hard Stone Carving.
