About The Artwork
Inspired by the idea of what society considers to be so special we will go to infinite depths to recreate it, my series Forms of Alchemy uses black glass as a canvas to explore different shapes. I combine the glass with pure gold and silver fusing into the glass to give a sense of familiarity, perhaps the ocean or the night sky. The surface is partially engraved giving each work depth, visual and physical texture.

Multiple forms are placed together to allow interaction as one performing character would with another, bringing negative space to life.
