ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This sculpture was created by laminating 3 separate pieces of marble together, then carving them as one stone. My inspiration for my body of current work is bone forms. The types of marble used are Italian Nero Portoro Marble, and Colorado Yule Marble. The base is black marble.
