ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Italian Renaissance at its best. As I sculpted this piece, I imagined digging in the grounds of Rome's Colosseum and discovering this relic. The base is composed of broken marble to illustrate how an archaeological find like this would look. The Autumn giant is inspired by Vivaldi's infamous 'Four Seasons' concerto. The torso begins to hunch over, grieving the end of summer.
