Fragilidad efímera Sculpture

I represent the vulnerability to the passage of time throughout the transformation of some hearts, their eyes, and sunflowers. Each heart represents the stages of the passage of time: the rise, decline, and death. With the hand lies the power to create and destroy, but ironically, this cannot be done with time. In an attempt to avoid death, the arteries of the hearts feed on the tears of blood from the eye of the hand but only expose their intransigence in the face of the pace of time. I made it using clay, gesso, plasticine, and acrylic paint. :)
