An old-fashioned garden where all creatures grow and roam free, in unity and love. Created from materials found at home: my own clothes, mostly silk, odd threads and yarns, plastic net bags from fruit and vegetables. Some handmade beads made from paper waste. Crochet, weaving, knitting and embroidery are freely used for making this artwork.

The artwork is light-weight and can be hung on nails, hooks or push-pins. Its size can be extended to 80 inches tall - in the photos provided it is folded over and draped to compensate for the position of inbuilt anchors on my wall. Its interactive components include creative draping and playing with some movable elements within the artwork. Some flowers are not permanently attached but are brooches that are equipped with pins on their back, therefore they can be moved around. Some ruching is free for manipulating to your heart's desire. Creative play and freedom with this artwork are encouraged and foster creative solutions.

This artwork works on a wall, but could also be hung as a room divider, or in a doorway as its back is fully finished and contains additional messages to discover.

The magic and wonder of my world reveal themselves in images, both soft and hard, full of mystery, always in layers of meaning. My stories emerge like flowers opening up their petals, one at a time, as I try to bring to light all the facets of a certain moment in time, of a precious memory. But in the end, or in the beginning, it's all about love. I explore painting as a connection to our human vulnerability, of which love is its ultimate manifestation.
