About The Artwork

Wheel thrown curvy vases with round curvaceous, waistlines and curved necklines. Feminine silhouettes bathed in glazes and fired in Raku reduction chambers. Each vessel presents a natural naked smooth stoneware and in contrast a rough textured glazed surface. They are meant to stimulate the senses, to be visually pleasing and inviting to touch. This vessel is extremely fragile, handle with 2 hands at the base when moving, this vessel does not hold water.

She has also exhibited at renowned events such as Red Dot during Art Basel Miami, The Art EXPO NY in NYC, The Other Art Fair in Brooklyn, various museums and art galleries on Long Island. Beyond her thriving ceramics studio, Jessamyn is deeply committed to environmental conservation, playing a pivotal role as a founding member of the Mastic Beach Conservancy. She actively serves on its board and contributes to the fundraising committee, organizing events to benefit the Mastic Beach community.
