«Courage is the measure of life» (c) My name is Anton Yakushev, I am a sculptor and artist blacksmith. I create one of a kind hand forged in fire sculptures. Every artwork consists of more than 50 details that I forge separately and has a special and unique meaning. My artistic device is experiment and improvisation, in fact, I do not use «one-size-fits-all» techniques. I think that the key message of ​​my art work is humanism, love and compassion to humanity. I realized that I was destined to turn ideas in metal in reality, when at the age of 16 I started working as a blacksmith. Now I am an award-winning sculptor, my art works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain and the United States. I am nationally and internationally distinguished artist, whose works are in permanent collections all around the world, including National Museums and Parks in the USA. I love to create independent and isolated worlds for my heroes that are dreams, cloudland cities, otherworld reality. A hope that impossible is nothing lives in these worlds.
