Hephaestus Sculpture

Part of the 'remains of the Olympians' project. Hephaestus god of blacksmiths, metalworking, sculptors, fire and volcanoes. He was thrown out of Olympus on birth by his mother Hera because of a deformity that caused him to drag one of his legs. Even though exiled he grew with a sense of duty and so he created weapons and any metalwork needed by his fellow gods and family. He had a very strong sense of responsibility to the point he forgave his mother and accepted to go back to Olympus, where he now had his own palace and workshop, to be of better help to the others. Even after all he had been through by his own family he could not forsake them and continued helping and fighting for them until they acknowledged him themselves.
