About The Artwork

The "High Heels" sculpture represents an old child's play in the Northeast of Brazil. Creativity flowed through the hands. For fun, the children made a hole in the bottom of two small cans, passed a string through the holes joining the two cans, climbed in cans and played in the streets as if wearing high heels. In order to make the High Heels sculpture, I used iron recycled: pieces of iron plate, iron pipe and fine rebar of iron and wire, to give elegance to the work.
