About The Artwork

The presented icon is a continuation of my work in the series "Carved Wood and Glass Icons" The icon I presented is made of walnut, the face is made of pear, the background is made of stained glass. The image of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is the most important icon in every home. This is the image of God Himself, embodied and accepted the death of God for the sake of people. There are a number of iconographies of Jesus Christ, many miracles are known from His ancient and new icons. The image of Christ Almighty is the most important in the iconography of Christ. It occurs in the "shoulder" (before the start of the chest, on the shoulders) and the waist composition. But the most solemn image of the Savior Almighty is the Savior on the throne, where Christ is depicted in full growth.
