About The Artwork
This series has its roots in constructivism and abstract geometry. To emphasize the volume, I make incisions to create embossments by raising and lowering the surface of the paper. The creative process contemplates cuts so that the final result of the works has real depth and a small spatiality between their plans.

Born in 1991, in São Paulo, Brazil. Carmen was raised in an environment when she was breathing art 24/7. Daughter of the renown artist Waldo Bravo, she grew up knowing art was her final destiny. Art as a whole has always been part of the artist life, since music, acting, photography to painting and artistic expressions itself. She has a degree in graphic design and she's been working professionally as an artist since 2016.
