About The Artwork

Title : Interspersed. Wood worked by elements on the coast, sand, wind and water. Rusty oddments attached to the wood add a further vintage feel. Between the rustic wood verticals are five intricate panels of mixed material mosaic. The reflective qualities of plexiglass and copper parts to the mosaic bring an intriguing effect as light strikes the artwork. Strikingly unusual , an absolute one of a kind. Part of the Jurassic Coast series. This piece measures: Height: 26 inches (66cm) Width: 32 inches (81cm) Depth: 2 inches (5cm) Two recessed keyhole slots are installed on the back, so the piece is ready to hang with just two level screws in a wall. The keyhole hanging method also allows the piece to hang flush and secure to the wall. *SHIPPING* I make custom wood crates for all my artworks, ensuring safe passage.

Vince is a London born, Bath city based artist who's work offers an alternative to the conventional plane and shape of framed paintings by bringing his sculptural wall art to attention the viewer. He creates artworks that focus on the interaction of colours, shape and depth. The composition and palette choices are influenced heavily by his teenage years spent as a graffiti artist. The evolution of this, post-graffiti genre, is evident in his work by the way he carefully composes sculptures of spacial balance making use of geometric and abstract forms. Vince's skillset is based in fine woodworking that has been passed down through generations of Bauhaus orientated artisans in his family. The discovery of artists such as Paul Klee, Joan Miro and Wassily Kandinsky urged him to introduce colour to his sculptures. His artworks can be found in both private and corporate collections worldwide. The Bath Times have run features on his work over a number of publications. His pieces are constructed from premium birch ply. They are brush painted in artists quality acrylic paint.
