ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This piece is inspired by the environment I live in. A conch shell glazed in a pewter or silver metallic. I have combined the beauty of the shell and nature with the contrast of a pewter or liquid silver finish. This deals with the beauty of my environment and home contrasted by the cold finish representative of the tourist industry and all of the commercialism that comes with it,
