ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is of course a jackalope. The ears are cut from an old tin container. The "hair" are constructed from mason jar rings. The contrast of creating a texture that is so desirable to touch yet painful to the actual touch is something that fascinates me. The push and pull of pleasure and pain is definitely at work in this particular material choice.
