Alessandro Cavallaro is a visual artist born in Turin in 1994. His work varies between installations and three-dimensional works. Fundamental for his path of human and cultural growth, his that he moved to many Italian cities, therefore he had the opportunity to study and deepen the differences that continue to surround him. Cement, iron, wood, glass and tar are his materials; poor and concrete materials that have always captured his interest. A strong geometric-spatial impact and a precise and defined study are the pillars of Cavallaro's research. The love for the edge and for the material heaviness of the form to the works a concrete and brutal breath. Simplicity of forms combined with industrial materials typify the work of the artist. Minimal and conceptual influences joined to brutalist architecture have led the artist to have a precise idea of ​​his artistic expression. In his work emerges silence and concept, the intent of each of his creative paths is by far to emerge from the roots of the material - through, often, its transformations - the intellectual identity of the work itself. Cavallaro's research takes as its starting point the space that surrounds it as a place of interaction between individuals and the environment, proposing to investigate the relationship between the materiality of his works and their condition. An alternation of structural analogies and aesthetic differences gives his research verticality and a strong visual impact.
