I was born and raised in Moscow, where I continue to live at the moment. After school, I graduated from animation college and worked as an animator for many years in various fields, such as computer games, feature films, TV advertising, and animated series. I made several episodes as a Director. But since I was a child, I loved to sculpt. Not so long ago, I began to study sculpture in the creative Studio of the famous and talented hereditary sculptor Alexey Vikulov. I realized that this is what I would like to do all my life. This year 2020 I participated in three exhibitions, they were held in Moscow, two of them were organized by the Russian Union of artists. In my works, I want to combine my previous experience, work with movement and pose plasticity, capturing the moment in static. I am very inspired by ancient sculpture. Back then, people didn't have so many rules and canons in the image. They depicted both real-life animals and unreal zoomorphs. I want to get into this part of our common ancient consciousness and create non-existent beings in reality. I am interested in feeling people's perception of the world, reflecting on the works of past eras, works of art from the Paleolithic and prehistoric times of different civilizations . Feel the species community with all humanity of the past and future. Only our species, Homo sapiens, started leaving rock carvings and clay figures in caves 40,000 years ago. It turns out that the creation of works of art is a distinctive feature of all mankind, and therefore a way to think, to be aware of reality. Then, through this universal timeless language of a creative work, you can communicate with all of humanity outside of time, epochs and civilizations. I am also inspired by the works of Soviet sculptors Nikolai Andreevich Andreev, Dmitry Filippovich Tsaplin, and Alexandr Terentevich Matveev. In their works, great energy, emotional courage, creative experiment is combined with a strong school. I am inspired by medieval and modern art and sculpture also.
