Lilith Sculpture

The prototype for the sculpture was the legend of Adam's first wife - Lilith. According to Kabbalistic theory and the early Christian apocrypha, which were not included in the canonical Bible, she was created by God from clay, even before the creation of Eve. There is practically no more information about her. But since I love the understatement of legends, I was inspired by this fleeting person. I decided to embody her in the form of the first-born queen, "rebelled" from stone and metal - the most ancient natural materials. This sculpture, like all my works, was created entirely by hand. I sculpted the mold with cement and used fired coal with stones. In the shoulders I inlaid with shiny coal and decorated with steel wire. The crown is a special element, I weaved it manually from thin steel wire. This work is already in a private collection, but if you like it, I can create similar sculptures of kings and queens in my style.
