ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Life-size stone Head. The stone comes from an old house on Corfu, but is not of corfiot origin. Possibly Italian. The base is from an old Greek roof tile. These can be found scattered all over the Islands wherever an old house has been abandoned.

He makes hand carved sculptures in wood and stone, prefering to work with locally found materials. Often these materials are from recycled sources. His work is mainly figurative, and explores the sensual nature of both the material and the human body.
