MESA Sculpture

These tables were made from Austrocedrus chilensis or Chilean cedar , from the southern Andes in El Bolson , Argentina , and were donated to an ecological society , JauJa .They were made from the outside cut of the trunk, mostly bark , that I found in the back of an old sawmill. I needed machines to plane and longcut , the glass was shaped first and painted to perhaps imitate the colour of the Rio Azul .The rest is nature and a few nails .
