mA-Ze -B-C-D Sculpture

Large wall art title: Maze B - Maze C - Maze-D. Three consecutive pieces from the mA-Ze series together as a triptych Each piece in the 'mA-Ze' series will be lettered, beginning with A finishing at Z. The series will have a number of recurrences that will be expressed on each of the 26 sculptures. These constants will be; a) the natural hand drawn arc curves, b) the mosaic fragmentation from a number of the segments and c) two courses of burnt orange mosaic. Each piece will have a visual connection to the neighbouring piece, by way of the 'pathways', this continuum will be to the right and left, above and below. This allows for the work to have a continuity on a much larger scale, while exploring the boundaries of the three constants. The ultimate piece will be a large work that consists of all 26 pieces. Just as the work explores physical fragmentation in the mosaic areas, fragmentation of the ultimate piece will occur as each individual piece finds a home in a variety of locations around the world. The pieces in this series will be one of a kind and not repeated. _______________________________________________________________________________________ Height: 32 3/4 inches (83cm) Width: 45 1/2 inches (116cm) with 2cm intervals. Depth: 1 inch (2cm) Each piece has a recessed keyhole slot installed on the back so the piece is ready to hang. The keyhole hanging method also allows the piece to hang flush and very secure to the wall.
