ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Born from a suspended moment, this stoneware piece is connected to a unknown source, from which Life appeared. // A thin skin composed of several sigillated clays welcomes the light on the face. The back is an enamelled cosmos where the conjugation of several metallic oxides has taken shape, giving rise to a red/pink universe, sometimes veined with thin violet or punctuated with a few blue appearances. Fired in a wood kiln, then smoked through the Night. // 2018 (shaping) / 2020 (firings).
