Martin The Stinkbug Sculpture

During the fall of 2018, the area where I lived was invaded by Chinese stink bugs. They were everywhere inside and outside. Sometimes you just felt the strange odor coming out of nowhere. While people don’t like them for different reasons, fear of their look or smell, I think they are really extraordinary creatures. They don’t do any harm to us. They just use their best abilities, shield, odor, and camouflage to protect themselves and their species. They are like superheroes of the bug world. Seeing them every day, everywhere, inspired me to make my first sculpture at the end of 2018. It took me about 3 months. I made it just with the screwdriver.
