ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Sheldon continues his highly imaginative and creative sculptural works with "Medusa", inspired by aquatic creatures of the same name, though not a literal interpretation. The sculpture appears to defy gravity, hovering in air by its 'tentrils'. The play of form is created through improvisational use of positive and negative space, that is sure to enliven any living space, public or private. The sculpture can sit outside, but an indoor setting is ideal for maintaining the enamel paint coating.
