Memory lapses Sculpture

The sculpture consists of fourteen elements placed on the ground and aligned to create a stripe that diminish in size as fading away in time and space. On its surface it has different holes, the empty cavities left by small rocks which were decorating old houses gardens in some area of Northern Italy. Once the owner of one of those houses died I preserved that memory collecting those stones and recreating the process of imprinting and leaving in a circular way. The holes left by those presences are evidencies of the past and capable of collecting new sedimentation of time and new memories.
