About The Artwork
Inspired by the Arthurian legions. The sculpture is made from miocene stone believed to be 20 million years old and comes from the ancient sea known as the 'Mer de Faluns' which is found in Brittany, France. This is a fossil stone and contains fragments of shells, bones, etc. It has an extraordinary fleshy, sensuous quality.
