ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In the drawings I try to move the viewer to some self -reflection. I want to make the viewer become aware that in life, all should be put in a perspective, and that we are not always that important. I want to get a smile on ones face, hence the use of colors and the simple but happy creatures on display. All works are handmade in a stoneware or earthenware clay. The drawings are made in colored slips and or glazes. This earthenware has been fired to a temperature of 1050°C, in an oxidizing atmosphere (rich in oxigen). In these works you will find more vibrant colors.
