About The Artwork
The blue is a clear glossy varnish. The Moonstones were made by pouring plaster into different sized molds. I imagined the surface of the moon, the colors there and how the wind would be blowing strongly. The plaster had to dry for several weeks and until white and smooth. In the back of each Moonstone is a small hole so the works may be hanged on a nail without a visible construction. Combine your favorite Moonstones in constellations! The works are finished with a transparent varnish that is UV-proof.
