Moorland Moss
One off small rustic tapestry made with lots of textures from using Moss, Herdwick Yarn and a little bit of Icelandic yarn. Hand spun Herdwick raw fleece and Icelandic hand spun yarn with bits of moss spun into the Herdwick which grows in abundance at the farm. The colours inspired by a picture I took a few years ago of the moors which surround the farm. Then mounted in a natural wooden frame ready for hanging.
Materials used:
Wool from my own Herdwick and Icelandic Sheep
Moss
Linen Yarn/Weft

SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Delivery Time:

Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I am a self taught wool artist working with my wool from my own no-kill flock. Most of my work involves wet felting for a small business I run selling felted Living Rugs. I am more interested in working with yarn and weaving in particular. I love making items with texture using hand dyed yarn which reflect the inspiration I get matching colours from the area I live in the Peak District National Park. I am very interested in creating items which are sustainable, eco friendly and cruelty free.
