Murmuration 18XII18 Sculpture

From my childhood in the countryside, I keep the love for color variations: have you ever tried to count the number of different greens or gazed with wonder at the shades of gray in the clouds? My little girl's eyes watched tirelessly the balance in the forms of leaves, flowers, buds and trees. So many surprises too when discovering the stones, barks, roots and moss already sculpted by water or time... The best (for me) studies in the world at the Ecole du Louvre have sharpened my sensitivity to masterpieces created by men of all times and all places. All around the world, even before trying to create a scripture, man has carved and painted. Then the adventure of motherhood enabled me to discover the creation in its absolute. How to create after giving life? Now that my four wonderful kids are grown-ups and approach adulthood I finally let myself go to the joy of creating rhythms, shapes and colors. Today I am a woman in a long line of artists. I seek nothing else than expressing my feelings. What matters is how YOU feel. What do you feel when you face one painting or another? What emotions does it provide you? Do you want to watch it every day? To display it for all to see or to keep it secret in a place that is just for you? I created for you, so you can offer you a painting in which you’ll dive as often you please. I live in Toulouse, in south-western France. I paint enjoying the view of a little garden. And if you hear the wind while looking at my work, it may be the same wind blowing in the bamboos today...
