Garden Clear Glass Iridescent Sculpture

Art designed to withstand the non-sterile gallery that a garden is and to survive outside in all weathers. This Stained Glass Tower was made by me using Clear Frosted Glass with an Iridescent finish. Made using traditional leaded stained glass techniques it is weather proof and can be left outside in all weathers except extreme winds and snow. Originally designed for a wild flower section of a show garden at the 2016 Sandringham Flower show, it picks up colours from its surroundings. Provided it has a background it will look its best in any light conditions and will change appearance constantly as the sun moves and light conditions change, with the texture and iridescence reflecting light. It is stained glass to look at, in that it reflects light and colour rather than projecting colours. I find all my stained glass garden art takes on a life of its own, that always needs checking when in the garden or looking at the garden. It is easily installed in a garden by pushing the legs into the ground. It could be installed inside in either a large flower pot or using a suitable base (not included). The tower is 43inches (109cm) tall and 4.5inches (11.5cm) wide with 15inch legs. A total length of 58inches.
