Hans-Jürgen Gorenflo wurde 1958 geboren in Stutensee bei Karlsruhe. Abitur. Reisen. Studium der Mathematik in Montpellier/Südfrankreich, Studium Generale in Karlsruhe, Besetzerszene im Berlin der 80er Jahre, dazwischen immer wieder Rucksackreisen, die ihn über die halbe Erde führen. Autodidaktische Studien und Meditationen in jahrelanger Zurückgezogenheit. Im Zentrum stehen Sinnfragen und die Erforschung des Denkens. Entdeckung der Sprache als Urkünstlerin. Seit 1996 lebt er wieder an seinem Geburtsort als freiberuflicher Künstler. Anfang 2006 erscheint sein erster Gedichtband (Zwiegespräch im Ich), gleichzeitig erste Ausstellungen seiner Holzskulpturen und Bilder.
