Odd scrawny man mask Sculpture

Growing up in Ceylon, and with frequent trips to rural countryside and visiting temples and ruins, I was fascinated by the beauty of ancient Ceylonese art, and the techniques they used to produce those works, and how they’re able to enchant the viewer are few reasons that led me to me further study in art and sculpture. including the Mayan culture and art, and south and Latin American art, which I’ve extensively studied growing up, being raised by a single mother, her personal life struggles, my feelings, being gay in a Anti-LGBTQ+ nation, and living in a patriarchal society hugely influenced my work, especially the current collection. This is my rendition of a strong,independent,emotional human being through sculpture and art. This particular piece embodies me.
