ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This set of mini-sculptures aka "Paint Blockages" was created out of fresh acrylic paint preserved in resin. This set of 4 blocks includes one 2-inch cube, one 1.5" cube, one 1" cube, and one .8" cubes. When stacked, the blocks are 5.2" tall. The blocks are all completely unique, some with more bubbles and imperfections than others. These blocks will be shipped to you individually packaged for you to arrange as you wish.

She slathers frosting-like paint layer upon layer onto the canvas with paint running off the edges, resulting in a sculptural, three-dimensional appearance. Her "Polka Daubs" series explores the deconstruction of color and texture into their simplest form. Ann Marie currently resides with her husband and four children Arlington, VA.
