About The Artwork
A work inspired by the vineyards of the famous Côte D’Or in Burgundy, France. The richly glowing reds and copper golds, reminiscent of Byzantine mosaics, reflect the season of Autumn where each small vineyard is of a differing hue of carmine gold. Materials: Copper mosaic glass, mosaic gold, Venetian red mosaic golds, fools’ gold (iron pyrites)
