About The Artwork
Your eye. The window to your soul. What do you see looking out? What do others see looking in? 18" diameter 'iris', embellished with an embroidery technique called goldwork. It is mounted on a brass bearing case, which in turn is mounted on a bronze through-hull fitting. 8 different types, sizes and finishes of metal threads, 24 karat gold leaf on leather and hand-dyed silk... on fusion silk.
