ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Aluminum in its capacity as a carrier material and as a storage material, a membrane between below and above, a recording of the absent and a reflection of the present. The black and phthalo blue ink polished into the aluminum increases and preserves the tension in this process. The shine of the bare structures and contours is permanently retained by the natural oxidation layer of the pure aluminum, they take on the color mood of the respective environment. Reflection and shadows change depending on the type of light conditions and the viewing angle. The wall sculpture weighs 3 kg, is signed on the front and on the back with the initials cR and also dated on the back. The integrated assembly elements guarantee easy assembly and give the object a 3 cm deep, effective distance from the wall.
