Lorrie Goss is a ceramic sculpture artist who creates original and custom designed interior and exterior water fountain art perfectly suitable for a home or professional office decor. The organic shaped bases of the water vessels are hand crafted from clay and each added sculptural piece is designed to compliment and enhance the color and interest of each individual piece. The pieces can be specifically created to fit the decor of the client. Lorrie has hand sculpted manatees, fish, dolphins, octopus, mermaids, birds, flowers, and even alligators. Many pieces include hand crafted copper elements which add even more interest as they provide the means for the water to flow. Work is available in the "Sea Spray" and the "Northern Woods" Collections. Lorrie became interested in ceramic art in sculpture while in high school and college. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Art Education from Grand Valley State University as well as a Master's Degree in Science which has nurtured her interest in working with chemical components of clay and copper. She works out of her own ceramic studio in St. Augustine, Florida. Her work has been shown in galleries and in showrooms in St. Augustine, Palm Coast and South Florida. Lorrie has been a member of the St. Augustine Art Association, The Art Studio of St. Augustine Beach, Vice President of St. Augustine Regional Council, BNI, Davidson's Realty Networking. facebook: ?ref=hl
