About The Artwork

The Woods left-back in the furniture Shops Like the Mahogany wood the Lignum vitae, the Cedarwood Inspired me to make this Sculpture, while in a Furniture shop one day I so them throwing away these Beautiful pieces of wood leftover from the cutting up and making of their furniture, so I said to them No don't throw them away give them to me, and from now on I will start to come for them when you have any to throw away, The Carpenter asked me What are you going to do with them ? and I replied I think I am going to Make some Scultures with them, and he said good you can come for them anytime they are throwing them away he will SAVE THEM FOR ME, so I said Thanks with the Frist full bag. (the bag was an empty Lage 50lb chicken feed bag) in which I put the pieces of wood in, I rode off on my bicycle with them while riding, I said to my self, I am going to be saving these Beautifull pieces of wood, so I want to do a Sculpture titled Saving Grace so this is how this piece came into being and the name, Pablo Picasso is also one of my great inspiration when it comes to the Old Master's, he is one of my great Master Teacher in art, I love his Sculptures, so studying his sculptures also Inspired me to do mine titled I am Saving Grace, and it is really saving someone or something because it's holding it up in its hands, a redeeming quality or factor Saving Grace
