ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The kinetics are an extension of the natural universe. The sculptures are composed of shaped wood bases, stainless steel and wood veneer pallets. The mobiles represent organic shapes, leafs & gemstones. The process is very internal, very zen, almost like a meditation. The energy put into making a piece is carried though them like a vessel. The work draws attention to the issue of our unsustainable relationship to nature. Begin to see yourself as the conduit of spiritual energy, or as a conductor to become a joint force in making change and promoting love within your world.
