Art Description

Sculpture: Wood, Fabric, Metal, Paint, Resin on Soft (Yarn, Cotton, Fabric), Wood, Other.

"Scratch built" is a term used among slot car enthusiasts to describe DIY frames that were made from brass tubing in the 60's and 70's. This work was informed by my childhood experience racing slot cars at the local track in Southern California, and is true in aspect ratio to the 1:24 scale model cars that I adored as a kid.
