About The Artwork
This sculpture speaks about violence in today's world. Person height, this work is both iconic and human, delicate and brutal. The frame holds a series of acrylic panels that are 1inch thick, stacked in vertical series and held withing a frame. The acrylic has been shattered into fragmented pieces, from shot through by bullets. The broken glass takes on evocative forms, that reflect the light and echo the fragile and delicate beauty of the human spirit.
