Nico Kok has developed a unique way of making a cube with strips with slits by sliding the strips into each other.
By this way 16 connected cubes are created.
After the cubes have been pushed together, the connections are fixed with a little glue.
Because the cubes are connected to each other at the corner points, there is no square pattern but a diamond pattern.
Themes of Nico Kok such as square, cube and the use of materials are reflected in this work.
