About The Artwork
Skyline II is a One Off Yacht Design on a Starboard Tack - Handmade in Marine Grade Stainless Steel with Adjustable Sails. The fractional rig features a brushed finish with contrasting highly polished sail stitching detail. The hull is polished to a mirror finish with brushed topsides. The shape of the hull is designed to create the movement of Skyline II heeling in the wind. ."I’m always comfortable with a nautical theme & my designs are inspired by my years at sea on Asgard II - the Irish Sail Training Vessel. Once I can visualise how the wind is going to move something, it works for me as I know how it will react" The Sails & Mast can be removed for Shipping & Storage. Skyline II can be mounted on a Timber Plinth if required & engraved plaques are available to order. Each Limited Edition Yacht Model is Individually Handmade by Grant at the workshop at Malahide, Co. Dublin.
