About The Artwork
Since ancient times the snake has been a mythological symbol among many tribes and peoples. It can be found in folk tales and legends in both positive and negative incarnations. In this piece I have represented it as a mythical being that crawls out of the womb of the Earth and, by extending its body towards the heavens, bites the Sun and in this way keeps it rotating in our galaxy, which, in turn, brings us to light and life.
