Snowflake in red and blue Sculpture

This work was inspired by snowflakes' photographs by W.A. Bentley. I had chosen one of his photos as a starting point for creating the ornament. A combination of colours might be looking unusual for the snowflake, but I had a certain idea behind it. I was thinking about my childhood memories when you return home late in the evening in winter and the windows of the bus are frozen and covered in beautiful ice patterns. When cars move on the road, you don't actually see them, but you can guess, because you see a sudden flash of bright red light reflected in the icy picture. So I wanted to reproduce this feeling in my ceramic plate.
