Athan Busulas was born in 1968 in Larisa Greece and he studied in the field of jewellery design at Mocume college in Thessaloniki Greece. He was involved from early on in the design and manufacture of jewellery, while his aquaintance with a well known sculpture and philosopher Stelios Papanikolaou gave him the motivation to engage in sculpture and the knowledge of the outline with which he began to experiment with the volume in his designs. His artistic worries led him from the age of 27 to create his first sculptures from wood and iron. Thus a holistic relationship with sculpture and jewellery was build which lasts until today.
