About The Artwork

One fine day I got the opportunity to observe a tiny butterfly which was fluttering on flowers in my garden. Mostly that stood on the stamens. That very moment became the inspiration behind making of this "stamens" sculpture. To make this figurative sculpture, I have used iron bars wraped with fabric. Then applied fevicol for strengthen the stamens. Then sculpted with modern plaster. Painted with Enamel colours. This is one of a kind artwork. Can be placed on tables as centerpiece.

Imagine, when two big hands working on some form of art…. you glare that with your little eyes wide open, captivated with the colours…unexpectedly, when something put on in your hands by that person with all love and kindness…..you see the item with ecstasy…try to imitate that person… to do something…to make something out of that item….finally you achieve some form of art(may be)….then, that person holds you tightly…shower her blessings on you ….ohhhh…beautiful…..yess..you are right …its my MOM. She is the inspiration behind my passion for art. I reminisce the days when she acclaimed to make fabric painting, table sculptures with mud and gifting them to near and dear. She motivates me still today and joins her hands always. We duo enjoy the process of making. Since childhood I used to make artworks in all forms. Those include paintings, mixed media art and clay art. My mind and hands cannot sit idle, thinking of something new. Out of all materials using for making art, my all time favourite is clay. I was often in hunt of sustainable clay. Then I have formulated my own version of clay which is a mix of fevicol, chalkpowder/marble dust and other ingredients. Unlike pottery or ceramic my clay is strong enough. With taking of little care while handling, my artworks last long for generations. My work, mostly inspired by the legends in the art field, whether they are sculptors or painters or digital artists. I am from India and very much fond of Indian heritage and culture. Always admire the respect that Indian culture bestowed on woman. You may see “woman” in my artwork which reflects so many emotions and feelings. It might be the impact of my mother on my art. I am always experimental. Cannot stick to one subject at all. One can find so many variations in my works. Still so many ideas are there which may transform into reality. Almost all of my works are complex and time consuming and I try to be involved at each stage of the process. My only motive is to continue my passion and to provide the buyers sustainable and elegant artworks.
