About The Artwork
A small sculpture that represents the duality of nature and the opposites without which we could not exist, like day and night, love and hate, good and evil. In this case they are represented by two vaguely infantile faces. The Moon has an absorbed and thoughtful expression, while the Sun communicates a sense of movement thanks to its hair that represents its rays. The sculpture is mounted on a moving iron spiral, to remember the eternal movement and evolution of life and all its elements. Handmade in Florence, Italy.

I'm an italian handcraft artisan, I love sculpture and all my works are handmade. When I was a child, I thought that my family had found me under a tree, because of the song that my father dedicated to me. Perhaps my passion for wood was born here, in the forests where I take inspirations for my creations and where I pick the roots of the trees that I transform into sculptures. But the forest is for me also a place where I can feel happy and free from all thoughts.
