About The Artwork
With a posthuman though this creatures might be what lives when we are gone. It has to live from what we left behind and is licking it from the ground. It is captured in a box, has to brake trough it to survive a explore the world. I created it from the begining on, how a sculpture is emerging: the base is wire, coated with 10 or more layers of resin in different transparencies of white. This is why it looks like Glas or Porcellain. It looks pretty nice mounted on the wall, but can even stand on something. Everyone of them are unique and single made.
